(Is there) Life on Mars?

Like every night, tonight she's also watching TV. There's so much to choose from these days, but she always ends up at the channels that give her some form of information. She hears them talk about the red planet and that it might be a home to us one day. Wow, a chance to start a new life!

She turns around and with her telescope stares into the night, to see if she can get a glimpse of her future habitat. A clean new world away from here. With different persons that will accept her for who she is. She ponders; "When I get up there, I'm going to do it My Way."
